I got confused after the adding up bit!
But it was fascinating - seems that Asimov's genius may have been grossly underestimated by some.
I might go back to try get to the free gift page later when my brain works better!
i learned how to do this in 4th grade, but got rusty over the years.. a refresher course helped me to see that it really works!.
also, if you want to know if a number with 2 or more digits is divisible by 3, add the digits - which sum will be smaller - to see if the sum is divisible by 3.. sylvia.

how sad that the witnesses have nothing to celebrate.
the more i think about it since i stopped going to the meetings, the more i feel that spirituality and religion are about opportunities to give thanks and to celebrate life with family and friends.
christenings or name giving ceremonies celebrate the gift of a new life to a family.
Sorry purps these day the only time I go into church is for weddings which is personal choice becasue it involves god's institution of marriage
If I go into a church to take part in worship to a false god then I am commiting a sin out of my wishes my heart.
So is a church wedding the true God's institution or a false God's institution?
And whilst you're in the church do you not think that you are taking part in the wedding service?
HINT: If you're there just as a cold observer that is ok (but why waste your time being there?!) If you're there to SHARE in the happy couple's celebration, then like it or not, you ARE taking part in the ceremony/worship, even if you aren't saying the prayers and singing the songs!

Just something for you to think about...
our cat carmel has been sick for over a month.
she started puking every morning and about a week later, on barbara's birthday, she puked five time before 8:00 am.
we canceled our plans and took her to the vet, he ran a bunch of tests and sold us some medicine for the puking.
Sorry your cat isn't well PEC & Barbie.
I lost one of my cats in January, she was clearly dying (in the final stages, everything shutting down) so the 'only' decision I had to make was to hasten it for her or allow her to go by herself. I hated to have to take her to the vet, but I did. I felt bad about it for days after even though I knew it was the kindest thing I could have done for her.
For all the advice we can give here, and even what the vet says, YOU know your cat the best, YOU will know when she's definitely not happy any more.
You'll KNOW when its time to let her go, she'll be telling you and you'll just know...

LOL that is weird mouthy! the masons homecoming eh?!
is also not so hard to leave
I wouldn't agree entirely with that comment wobble. You can leave - and they can make life very, very difficult for you...
Don't be fooled by the nice charitable front - that's just for show.
the first poll of britain's churchgoers, carried out for the sunday telegraph, found that thousands of them believe they are being turned down for promotion because of their faith.. one in five said that they had faced opposition at work because of their beliefs.. more than half of them revealed that they had suffered some form of persecution for being a christian.. the findings suggest a growing hostility towards religion in this country, which has been highlighted by a series of clashes between churchgoers and their employers.. and so on.
more at the link.. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/religion/5413311/christians-risk-rejection-and-discrimination-for-their-faith-a-study-claims.html.
silver lining: there are still christians in gb!.
So is this thread about abortion or alleged discrimination of Christians then?
my computer is with the geek squad currently to rid it of this winpc anti-virus.
the guy who is repairing my computer is ian and he's a member of the geek squad.
he has two other computers he is trying to rid of the same virus.
If its any help to you or others for the future, I've discovered that there is a free anti-spyware program which will remove a lot of these malware programs (especially the XPDefender types - which are 'legitimate' so tend to get left alone by most antivirus/antispyware programs).
Its called Malwarebytes - I discovered it on the Bleepingcomputer.com website. More importantly, it also seems to remove the trojans which allow the popups to access your computer in the first place!

...are you OBVES, are you OBVES, are you OBVES in disguise...
(to the tune of 'cwm rhondda')
Why did you ignore Narkissos' perfectly reasonable question? It wasn't even a 'science/atheism/secular humanism vs God' kind of question
challenge: do you agree that 10 greek words unite to show that the holy spirit ~ is (a person) ~ like jesus?.
the spirit, our 1helper/advocate/lawyer, is the 2holy, 3everlasting, 4eternal, 5lord, 6god, who is 7truth, & 8raised up christ, & 9makes alive; & we should be 10baptized in his name.. the wt claims: ~ "the scriptures themselves unite to show that god's holy spirit is not a person"(insight p.1019, & aid p.1543).. the scriptures themselves show just the opposite !.
10 greek words prove, that what is true of god the son (&/or god the father) is also true of god the holy spirit.
Words alone prove NOTHING at all...
They merely provide evidence which is open to cross-examination.
